Day 4. Facing Hard Things

I did the damn thing!  It was HARD.  But no excuses. I am loving the fact that every workout is totally different.  And the pace is perfect.  Just when I think I'm gonna die, they change it up.

Facing hard things without giving up can be very challenging for anyone, and not just from a fitness standpoint.  So I'd like to help you maybe change some internal dialog to something that helps!

Instead of:
I quit everything anyway.
Try:
I am a person who has a habit of quitting

Instead of:
I'm a procrastinator.
Try:
I am a person who has a habit of procrastinating.

Instead of:
I am too fat/old/untrained.
Try:
I am getting healthy/full of wisdom/ready to learn.

For each negative that we replace, another door opens for us.

Another great word?

YET

As in:
I'm not strong...yet.
I'm not trained...yet.
I haven't quit yelling...yet.
I don't set boundaries.....yet.
I don't have a good marriage...yet.
I don't have a great relationship with my kids...yet.
I haven't done anything big at work....yet.

YET is such a powerful word!  It triggers your mind to accept that it is coming.  It helps your brain become more malleable!  So give these two switches a try and tell me how it goes for you!
