Day 5 What to do when you get thrown a curve ball

Today my plan got thrown off.  How? Well, 3 things.  I was not home, I was driving a few hours to take back my daughters friend before school starts  yesterday and to do a photo shoot for an expectant mama.  And of course, time with my Bestie McBesterson, Jess.  I had planned to leave today and get home around 3pm and then workout.  But we ended up having a lovely opportunity for me to stay one extra night into Sunday.  Which left me with a dilema:
I will miss my workout as I couldn't access it from her home (my computer died and I had no charger... I am writing this on Day 6 from home!)
I wouldn't be able to post my time lapse that I have promised.

Now of course my usual go to is to panic and say "if I do that then I might as well scrap the whole project!  Not only a week in and already I am breaking my accountability!"  This time however I 54321....it is ONE day.  One day will not ruin my progress.  Nor will it ruin this blog.  However not getting the time my heart desperately desires with my friend and her family will hurt.  And looking back I certainly won't wish I had worked out more or blogged more.  I will wish I had more time with people if I am not careful to balance things.

So I stayed.  I ate chocolate (not a ton).  I had bowl full of berries and a lemonpoppy seed muffin.

And I felt ZERO GUILT.

I did NOT go eat pizza.
I did NOT eat allergens.
I did NOT turn into a victim.
I did NOT give up.

And today, Day 6 I will do a double workout.  That's that.

You can be accountable and still have a life!  Things can and will come up, it's whether or not you let them throw you off your entire course or simply get right back on.

Curve balls aren't imposible to hit.  You just have to move a little extra!
