The 5 Journal-Personal growth in 5 mintues a day

I can't believe it's actually happening!  

As of 1am this morning, 5-a daily journal for personal growth by yours truly has been accepted and is undergoing it's final review before going live on Amazon bookshelves by tomorrow!


This has been something that genuinely came from my heart.  It was started years ago, when I was 20/21.  I was going through a rough breakup-from a 6yr emotionally abusive relationship.  So, to say I had zero self esteem or self worth would be an understatement.  I found zero value in myself.   I knew something had to change, so I (and no, I have no idea where the idea came from.  I blame God.) started daily writing 5 things I liked about myself and 5 things I was proud of that day with a short little blurb about my day.  It helped.  A LOT.  I went from loathing myself to thinking I was ok, I guess.  That was a huge first step.

Looking back, it really hurts to know how I spent so much of my life.  And I don't want anyone else to live like that either!  Stagnant and unhappy is no way to spend our days on this planet!

I wasn't able to meet my own eyes in the mirror and say "I like you" without hearing some negative self talk that invalidated it until about 10 months ago.  And yes I cried.  The day I could meet my eyes and say "I love you and you're awesome" was about 7 months ago.  And that day was by far one of the most incredible days I have had on this journey.  

Part of what made that second huge shift happen was learning to live in gratitude, grace, growth, and self love.  Focusing on not just the 5 things I liked about myself and was proud of, as I did when I was younger.  The big shift came with adding in the focus on other categories and has exploded my growth.  Now I have Faith and Peaceful Parenting aspects that I personally do, (and YES there will be versions of 5 coming soon for those as well!) but I knew not everyone had families or was on the same or similar walk of faith as I am. So this is the "First Edition" 5 Journal! 

This 100 day journal has areas for every day focuses on:
Gratitude
Self worth/reflection
Health
Accomplishments
and Positivity throughout your life.
(I also added in a small "about your day" area for personal reflection.)

If you have followed even some of this little blogs posts, you know how passionate I am about living a full, joyful, peaceful life.  I am passionate about growth and support and taking ownership of our lives.  I know firsthand how hard it can be to start that journey.  With so many areas of our lives, it can be confusing knowing where to start.  This journal provides a great jump start for your growth journey.
